About Adium
Adium connects to several messaging services at once through the libpurple library, including XMPP and IRC, with tabbed chat windows, combined contacts, themable message views and OTR encryption.
It is a legacy project: the latest release is 1.5.10.4 and the repository has seen little activity since 2021. Many networks it was built for have shut down or changed their protocols, so check that your service still works before relying on it.
