About JoeBro
JoeBro gathers an AI assistant and the material it works on into one window. Besides streaming chat with local models or any API key you supply, it has an agent mode that can read and edit files, run terminal commands, search the web and act on your calendar and IMAP mailbox, plus a deep-research mode that writes cited reports and a document pane for editing Word files beside the conversation.
A persistent memory, viewable as a graph, keeps facts between sessions, and the app can turn repeated tasks into reusable skills. A small local backend runs inside the SwiftUI app, and nothing is sent out unless you connect an external model or mailbox. A separate open-source iPhone companion pairs with the Mac app.
