About Launchy Launchpad
Launchy Launchpad scans the Applications folders and lays installed apps out in pages of icons, either as an edge-to-edge fullscreen grid or as a smaller floating palette. Typing filters the grid immediately, holding Option while dragging builds a folder, and tiles can be renamed, hidden or moved from a context menu; a global shortcut or a hot corner opens it.
The project states that it runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs, and it updates itself from GitHub releases. Releases from 11 September 2026 onward are AGPL-3.0; earlier versions remain under the MIT license they shipped with.
