About OnionShare
OnionShare starts a temporary Tor onion service on your own computer and gives you an address to pass on. The other person opens it in Tor Browser to download files, upload files to you, view a static website or join an anonymous chat, and nothing is stored on a third-party server.
Sharing only works while the app is running. The macOS disk image is published on the official site and in the project's GitHub releases; the separate onionshare-cli is also available.
