About Bitcoin Core
Bitcoin Core runs a Bitcoin node and includes a graphical wallet interface. It lets users interact with the network using software and validation performed on their own computer.
Running a node has storage and synchronization requirements. The official project distributes the desktop application as part of its macOS release.
