About NearDrop
NearDrop implements part of Google's Nearby Share and Quick Share protocol for macOS. It runs in the menu bar and connects the Mac's sharing workflow to compatible Android devices.
The devices must share a local Wi-Fi network. The Mac remains visible to others on that network while NearDrop runs, and some Quick Share features are not implemented.
