About HiPixel

HiPixel is a Mac front end for image super-resolution built on Upscayl's upscaling binary and models. Drop images onto it and they are processed automatically, either one by one or in batches, with several bundled models for photos, fast results or digital art, and support for loading custom models from a folder. A comparison view lets you zoom into the result before saving.

It can also watch folders and upscale new images as they arrive, and exposes its options through a URL scheme and an Apple Shortcuts action. To keep the download small, the upscaling engine and models are fetched on first launch. The project lists macOS 13 or later and publishes disk images on GitHub releases and its website.
