About Kodi
Kodi, originally XBMC, is a home-theatre media center that plays and catalogues films, TV shows, music and photos from local drives and network shares. It has a ten-foot interface designed for remotes, a skinning engine, and a large add-on ecosystem.
The non-profit XBMC Foundation oversees the project, and macOS builds are offered from the official download page. Some third-party add-ons are not part of the project, so install them only from sources you trust.
