Recordly

Recordly combines a screen recorder with an editor aimed at product walkthroughs and demo videos. It can suggest zooms on activity, smooth cursor movement, add a webcam bubble, and place the recording in a frame with backgrounds, padding and shadows.

On macOS it captures through ScreenCaptureKit and requires macOS 14 or later; releases include Apple silicon and Intel builds. The project began as a fork of OpenScreen and is licensed under AGPLv3, with its license file adding that the Recordly name and branding may not be reused and that derived code must credit Recordly.
