About NoteGen
NoteGen separates capturing from writing: save text, screenshots, recordings and links first, then shape them into Markdown notes later. Notes live locally, with optional sync through services you configure and local backups.
AI features such as chat, writing help, OCR and knowledge-base search only work after you connect an AI provider and model of your choice, which may send note content to that provider. The Tauri app publishes macOS builds for Apple silicon and Intel on GitHub.
