About Simplenote
Simplenote keeps notes as plain text, organised with tags and search rather than folders, and syncs them through a Simplenote account to the service's other apps. Notes can also be written and previewed in Markdown.
This repository is the native macOS client, distributed through the Mac App Store; its latest tagged release, 2.21 from September 2024, matches the version listed there. Automattic also publishes a separate Electron-based Simplenote desktop app in another repository.
