About ScreenTranslate
ScreenTranslate is driven by shortcuts. Drag a rectangle over text you cannot select, translate highlighted text directly, or open a small panel to type something in. Results appear in a popup next to the source, and a beta live mode follows changing subtitles in videos or games.
Recognition and translation use Apple's on-device frameworks unless you opt into a cloud engine. The project's privacy policy notes that it collects anonymous usage statistics.
