About Telephone
Telephone turns a Mac into a phone for any service that speaks the SIP protocol, such as a VoIP provider or an office PBX. Once a SIP account is configured, calls can be placed and received over the internet or a company network instead of on a physical handset.
The app is free on the Mac App Store from its developer, 64 Characters, and the source code is published under the GPL. The last tagged release, 1.6, dates from June 2022, while the repository continues to receive commits.
