About capcap
capcap captures a region or window when you double-tap the Command key, then opens an editor for arrows, numbered steps, text, highlighting and mosaic, with edits that stay adjustable. It also does scrolling captures, background beautification, pinning a capture above other windows, and a local history.
Text recognition runs on-device, with optional translation through Apple Translation or your own service, and optional uploads to object storage you configure. The project lists macOS 14 or later; the documentation is primarily in Chinese with translations.
