About ksnip
ksnip is a Qt screenshot utility. On macOS it captures a drawn rectangle, the previously selected area, the current screen or all screens, with an optional delay; window capture modes are limited to other platforms. Captures open in a tabbed editor with pens, markers, shapes, text, stickers, blur and pixelation, cropping, effects and watermarks, and can be pinned on top of other windows, printed, or uploaded to Imgur, over FTP or through your own scripts.
The latest stable release with a macOS DMG is version 1.10.1 from March 2023; newer continuous builds are published on GitHub, and the maintainer is looking for co-maintainers. The README lists a few macOS-specific limitations in the snipping area.
