About Cog
Cog plays a very wide range of audio: common lossy and lossless formats, cue sheets and playlists, tracker modules, video game music formats, SID and AdLib files, and MIDI through built-in synthesizers or Audio Units. Playback options include ReplayGain, an equalizer, and speed and pitch control.
The direct download updates itself with Sparkle, and the project also links a Mac App Store edition. Cog's plugins include third-party libraries with their own licenses; the README lists macOS 12 or later.
