About MacMusicPlayer
MacMusicPlayer plays music from local folders without a Dock icon, keeping controls in the menu bar. A quick picker searches titles, artists, and filenames, and you can keep several libraries and switch between them.
It handles common formats such as MP3, AAC, FLAC, and WAV, and has an optional downloader that relies on separately installed yt-dlp and ffmpeg. The GitHub DMG is ad-hoc signed and built for Apple silicon, so the first launch needs manual approval.
