About Everything by mdfind
Everything by mdfind puts a dedicated search window in front of the macOS Spotlight index. Searches can match names or contents and be narrowed by size, extension, case, and folder, with bookmarks for common queries such as large files.
Results can be previewed in the app, including text, images, and audio or video playback. It is a Python and PyQt application; the GitHub release ships a ready-made app bundle, and results depend on what Spotlight has indexed.
