About HapticKey
HapticKey is a small utility for MacBook Pro models with a Touch Bar. When you tap Escape, a function key or another Touch Bar control, it vibrates the trackpad so the flat strip gives some physical confirmation, and it can play a sound or flash the screen instead.
It needs Accessibility permission and uses private multitouch interfaces for the haptic effect. The last release, 0.7.0, dates from October 2021 and is not signed, so expect to approve it manually; it is only relevant on Macs that have a Touch Bar.
