About MTMR
MTMR (My TouchBar My Rules) takes over the Touch Bar and fills it with items you choose: system keys such as Escape, volume and brightness, plus widgets like weather, battery, music controls and buttons that run AppleScript or shell commands. The layout lives in a JSON file, and shared presets and a visual designer are available.
It only matters on MacBook Pro models with a Touch Bar. The last release, 0.27, dates from November 2020, while the repository still sees occasional commits.
