About Tactile
Tactile adds haptic feedback to pointing. It watches the accessibility tree under the cursor and fires the Force Touch trackpad's haptic motor when the pointer enters something clickable, giving a physical cue that does not depend on noticing a hover colour.
Haptic patterns can be chosen or composed, and an optional Chrome extension helps with web pages whose controls are not exposed to accessibility. It requires a trackpad with Force Touch and Accessibility permission, and is a new, small project.
