About Life Saver
Life Saver renders Conway's Game of Life as an abstract, artistic animation rather than a plain grid of cells. A range of colour schemes, presets, and adjustable settings lets it be tuned from lively to calm on the desktop.
The macOS screensaver's latest release is version 1.2 from November 2021, distributed as a zip linked from the project README; the same engine also powers a separate Apple TV app. The code is released under MPL-2.0.
