About Mac Duo
Mac Duo reads the MacBook's lid-angle sensor and plays a visual effect on the built-in screen as the lid moves: the desktop can fade away around the hinge, curl up like a roll, slide behind shutter panels, bow under tension, or close like a camera iris. Holding the lid still clears the screen after a short, adjustable delay, and a Replay button demonstrates the effects without any permissions.
It needs macOS 13 or later and a MacBook with a continuous lid sensor; the project lists M1 MacBook Air and 13-inch M1/M2 MacBook Pro models as unsupported, and its Intel build is an untested preview. Screen Recording permission is used to capture desktop frames, which stay in memory. Builds are not notarized, so the first launch has to be approved in System Settings.
