About Moonlight
Moonlight is the desktop client for hosts running Sunshine or NVIDIA GameStream. It decodes H.264, HEVC and AV1 streams with hardware acceleration and supports HDR, surround audio and many gamepads with rumble and motion controls.
Pointer capture works for games, while a direct mouse mode suits remote desktop use, and system shortcuts can be passed through to the host. The experience depends on the host's encoder and the local network; wired or fast Wi-Fi connections work best.
