About YouTube Music Desktop App
YouTube Music Desktop App runs the YouTube Music web player in its own window, separate from your browser. Its additions include custom global shortcuts, Discord status, Last.fm scrobbling, custom CSS themes and a companion server that lets third-party tools control playback.
It is a community project, not a Google product, and depends on the YouTube Music website continuing to work as it does. Mac builds for Apple silicon and Intel are published on GitHub; the Homebrew cask is community maintained.
