About Typeflux
Typeflux is a push-to-talk dictation tool: hold the Fn key, speak, release, and the transcript is typed at the cursor in whatever app is in front, with a clipboard copy as a fallback. It can use on-device speech models, so voice does not have to leave the Mac, or a choice of other speech backends.
Double-pressing Fn opens Ask Anything, a voice-driven assistant for questions, rewriting selected text and translation. Named personas hold different instructions for different kinds of writing. The project lists macOS 13 as the minimum and publishes builds for Apple silicon and Intel.
