About Kiwix
Kiwix opens ZIM files, a compressed archive format that packages whole websites such as Wikipedia, Wiktionary or Stack Exchange sites for reading without a connection. The app browses and downloads archives from the Kiwix library, then provides search, bookmarks and article navigation entirely from local storage, which makes it useful for travel, classrooms or places with poor connectivity.
This repository is the shared iOS and macOS version of the Kiwix project. The Mac app is distributed mainly through the Mac App Store, with a direct disk image on the Kiwix download server and a Homebrew cask; recent releases support the three latest major versions of macOS.
