About Thock
Thock plays a switch sound for every key you press, so a laptop or membrane keyboard sounds like a mechanical board. It runs from the menu bar, ships with recorded switch profiles, and accepts custom sound packs described in a small JSON format.
It can mute itself while Apple Music, Spotify or VLC is playing and resume when the music stops, and sounds can be panned by key position. The author also provides a command-line tool and Raycast extension for control. Builds are published on GitHub releases and through the author's Homebrew tap.
