About Deckle
Deckle covers the display with a faint paper texture or a smooth dimming layer, aiming to make long reading and writing sessions feel less like looking at glass. You can pick a paper, adjust intensity and grain, and save combinations as named setups for different kinds of work.
The overlay passes every click through, and individual displays or apps can be excluded. The project is clear that it is a visual texture, not a calibrated blue-light filter. It requires macOS 13 or later; releases are on GitHub and the developer also maintains a Homebrew tap.
