About Satellite Eyes
Satellite Eyes lives in the menu bar and replaces the desktop picture with an overhead view of wherever the Mac currently is, updating when you move somewhere new. Map styles range from aerial photography to abstract watercolour renderings, and images can span several displays.
When your location is not very interesting, it can instead rotate through a set of notable places around the world. The imagery comes from third-party map providers. The app dates back to 2012 and still receives releases; the current version is written in Swift and needs macOS 13 or later. Download it from the official site or install the satellite-eyes Homebrew cask.
