About PlayStatus
PlayStatus puts the current Apple Music or Spotify track in the menu bar and opens a now-playing panel with playback controls, artwork, search, lyrics and credits. The panel can shrink to a mini player or detach into a floating window, and themes and menu bar text options control how much space it takes.
Recent versions add a play history, Last.fm scrobbling, and actions that can be triggered from Shortcuts, Spotlight or any launcher that opens URLs. Builds are published as zip archives on GitHub releases, and the README also documents a Homebrew cask in the developer's own tap.
