About Plug
Plug wraps Hype Machine, the music-blog aggregator, in a dedicated Mac player for discovering and playing the tracks it collects. It suits people who already follow Hype Machine and want playback outside a browser tab.
The current version is distributed through the Mac App Store and requires macOS 12 or later. Development has been quiet since 2024, and the app depends entirely on the Hype Machine service remaining available.
