About Cap
Cap combines screen, microphone, and camera capture with an editor for trimming, zooms, and presentation backgrounds. It is useful for product demos, bug reports, tutorials, and walkthroughs that need more context than a screenshot.
The desktop app supports local recording and export as well as hosted sharing. Cloud plans and distribution options can be paid; check the official download and pricing pages for current terms. The repository uses AGPLv3 for the application, MIT for the cap-camera and scap crate families, and the original licenses for third-party components.
